I’m struck by the rare talent of Hong Kong artist and architect Hong Yi who goes by the nickname Red.
She seems to visualize the whole canvas all at once and then build up her images one coffee cup stain at a time.
Here is a video of her making her most famous portrait of Jay Chou over one afternoon using nothing but coffee stains from the bottom of a cup.
You won’t believe it until you see it.
Maybe grab a cup of coffee first.
Then share this with friends who will be awe-inspired by art made purely from coffee stains.
